How does the fingerprint ink pad process work?
If you select the ink pad fingerprint method, an ink pad will be delivered to you after you complete your order. Once you receive the ink pad, follow the instructions below so we can begin creating your personalized imprint pendant.
Preparation:
1. Ensure your hands are clean and dry before using the kit.
2. Open the kit carefully, avoiding contact with the designated no-touch area of the ink pad.
3. Place the ink pad on one of the sheets of paper, ensuring the designated
no-touch area is facing down and the edges are aligned.
Using the Kit:
1. Select a finger to use (we recommend the index finger).
2. Drag your finger in the ink pad area on one side of the paper to remove any excess ink. This will help you get clearer fingerprints.
3. Press the tip of the chosen finger onto the ink pad.
4. Roll the fingertip from right to left and left to right on the paper, creating a clear print.
Repeat the process with the other sheets of paper to create multiple prints
Tips:
Make several prints to ensure you have the best quality fingerprint for engraving.
AFTER CARE:
Once the prints are complete please take a clear photo in natural lighting (without shadows) and email it to us at info@se-luna.com
Do not throw away any of the fingerprints after you take a photo as we need to make sure that the photos provided are good enough to extract and engravable print.
